Job summary

Cape Ann YMCA is hiring Group Leaders for Out-of-School Time programs in the North Shore area. You will help create a safe, engaging environment for children before and after school and support their development through planned activities and positive guidance.

The role emphasizes active supervision, collaboration with staff and families, and adherence to YMCA policies while promoting the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated understanding of child growth and development.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive environment that supports children's growth.
• Welcome and orient children and families to the program.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and lessons.
• Maintain safety and accurate attendance and documentation.
