Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County in Lakewood, NJ is seeking an energetic Program Instructor for our Adult Day Program. You will design and lead structured activities that build life skills, independence, and community participation, while supporting individuals to achieve personal goals through encouragement and hands-on learning.

Responsibilities include planning educational, recreational, vocational, and life-skills activities; adapting delivery to each participant; safely transporting participants;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with no more than five points.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Flexibility for community-based programming and transportation duties.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities
