Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory care required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year acute care experience; registry eligible
• RCP license required; CRT required; RRT preferred; CPR/ACLS/NRP/PALS within required timeframe

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders.
• Monitor and operate equipment including ventilators, gas delivery, monitoring.
• Assess patient needs across ages; document education.
• Review EMRs and physician orders during shifts.
• Respond to CPR and airway management as needed.
• Facilitate workflow and interdepartmental processes; adhere to policies.
