Job summary

Heartland-Aba-1 is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients\' homes or in community locations. This is a part-time role focused on helping children with Autism develop skills and independence through evidence-based interventions.

No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. A high school diploma, willingness to learn, patience, and reliable transportation are essential, along with a 40-hour RBT course and a 6-month commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• Reliable method of transportation.
• Must complete the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Minimum 6 month commitment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.
