BEACHMONT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH INC is hiring a compassionate Behavior Technician in Ojai, California, to provide meaningful Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to client well-being.

Successful candidates will implement behavioral intervention programs and support client progress under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with prior experience preferred.

The position offers competitive hourly pay, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (degree preferred).
• Able to pass DOJ/FBI background check + TB test.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill development programs.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with caregivers, clients, and BCBA.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow written plans and document objective session notes

Basic math for tracking behavior data

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Education
