Job summary

Alzheimer's Association is seeking a Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's, to lead Walk programs in Lansing, Jackson and Livingston County from Okemos or Southfield, MI. You will recruit volunteers, build committees, manage sponsorships, and drive revenue while coordinating with corporate partners and community leaders.

You will oversee planning, budgets, marketing, training, and events, ensuring engagement and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Preferred peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent sales background.
• Confident, goal-oriented, positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to form and develop corporate relationships and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Lansing, Jackson and Livingston County.
• High-level volunteer recruitment, training, coaching, and management to meet revenue goals.
• Build relationships with volunteers, participants, sponsors and community leaders and with corporate partners.
• Oversee volunteer committee development, recruitment, budgets, marketing, logistics and best practices.
