Placements24 invites a Social Impact Investment Analyst to join our client’s team in the Northern Cape region. The role blends rigorous financial analysis with impact assessment, in a hybrid setup with travel for site visits and stakeholder engagement.

You will source opportunities, perform due diligence, build financial models, analyze ESG metrics, and prepare memos for the investment committee while driving sustainable development objectives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, MBA, or related field.
• Proven experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, or venture capital.
• Understanding of ESG principles and social impact measurement.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely and travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source social impact investment opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence on target organizations (financial, operational, and impact).
• Develop financial models and investment proposals.
• Analyze impact metrics of potential investments.
• Monitor performance of existing investments and report findings.
• Engage with investee companies to support growth and impact objectives.
• Conduct market research on impact investing trends and sustainable finance.
• Build relationships with fund managers, social enterprises, and stakeholders.
• Prepare investment committee memos with findings.
