Job summary

The International Center in Indianapolis offers an internship focusing on development, engagement, and fundraising. You will work with the Development and Engagement Manager to create the yearly Impact Report and research potential sponsors and grant opportunities.

You will assist in grant writing, donor relations, and event coordination, while gaining hands-on experience with Canva, Neon CRM, and social media campaigns. Hybrid work is possible based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Social media experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of non-profit work.
• Proficiency with Canva, Neon CRM, Word and PowerPoint.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work in a diverse community.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development Manager and Marketing team in creating reports, grant applications, and solicitation messages.
• Support grant writing and fundraising, including researching funding opportunities and drafting proposals.
• Maintain a database of community members, sponsors, and stakeholders using Neon CRM.
• Support development efforts including philanthropy, fundraising, donor engagement, and event coordination.
• Assist with event planning, including the Annual Meeting and International Citizen of the Year, coordinating with vendors and managing seating.
