Job summary

Social Impact is seeking an Accounting Manager in Arlington, VA to lead billing efforts and ensure accurate invoicing for projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with USAID clients, and require a Bachelor's degree. Responsibilities include setting up projects, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts receivables.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of Microsoft SL and Office applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/years of experience.
• Time and Material, Fixed Price, and Cost Plus Fixed Fee billing experience for USG clients required; USAID preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Set up all new projects in Sales Ledger (SL), including Labor Categories for time & material efforts.
• Lead billing processing and maintain billing tracker.
• Reconcile unbilled balances monthly and investigate aged unbilled items.
