Job summary

SGA is seeking an Evaluation Specialist in Chicago to support continuous quality improvement and program evaluation. You will collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data, collaborating with program staff to identify trends and develop actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities include creating reports, dashboards, and tools; training staff on data systems; and supporting the annual Program Evaluation Report while ensuring timely, accurate data for grant applications and funder reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting program data.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews program data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and anomalies; resolves data-quality issues.
• Collaborates with the CQI Supervisor to use evaluation findings to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensures reported data are accurate, complete, and submitted by established deadlines.
• Produces data tables, outcome summaries, and analyses for grants, funder reports, program reviews, and communications.
• Develops data collection tools, surveys, forms, manuals, procedures, and reports in systems.
• Provides technical assistance and training to staff on data entry, quality, reporting, and data systems.
• Supports the development of SGA's annual Program Evaluation Report.
• Represents the agency in collaborative projects and accreditation initiatives.
