Job summary

West Virginia University’s Student Media division seeks a Sponsorship & Partnerships Coordinator to drive revenue growth through advertising, sponsorships and underwriting across print, digital, and radio platforms.

You will collaborate with university partners to expand opportunities, build tailored sponsorship packages, and manage CRM and forecasting while mentoring student staff in sales and client relations.

Qualifications

• Advertising sales experience required.
• Sponsorship or partnership development experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with digital advertising products.

Responsibilities

• Secure advertising and underwriting revenue for student media outlets.
• Develop advertising packages across print, digital, audio and newsletters.
• Identify sponsorship opportunities linked to student life and campus events.
• Build strategic partnerships and align with brand standards.
• Manage sponsorship projects and tracking systems.
• Coach student staff in sales, pitches and campaigns.
