Responsibilities

  • Counsels students to encourage and support student achievement.
  • Monitors, supervises, coordinates, and enforces classroom behavior.
  • Observes, evaluates, reports, and records student performance and health.
  • Prepares lesson outlines, objectives, and materials per curriculum guidelines.
  • Establishes clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
  • Presents subject matter using various methods and technology.
  • Instructs students individually and in groups.
  • Prepares, administers, and grades tests; reports grades in District software.
  • Prepares attendance and activity reports for administrators.
  • Communicates with parents/guardians and staff to address student issues.
