Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc. seeks a Safety Specialist to support the Corporate Safety Manager across divisions, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety program effectiveness at Mesa facilities. The role includes inspections, incident investigations, and safety training.

You will contribute to a safety-driven culture, analyze safety data, and assist with SMA-based workflows, while traveling as required for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of direct employee safety engagement and training.
• Experience in safety inspections and accident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Create a strong safety culture by implementing workplace health and safety policies.
• Evaluate and alter safety procedures to strengthen safety culture.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and provide lessons learned.
• Prepare and conduct safety training and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
• Track incident metrics and report safety statistics to stakeholders.
