Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant experience working with local governments including counties and municipalities.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and proven management skills.
• Experience in financial management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mid-East Commission as Executive Director for the Board of 51 local officials and citizens.
• Manage a team of 25–30 professional staff and an annual budget >$9 million.
• Provide technical assistance and services across programs and services.
• Collaborate with staff, governments at all levels, private industry and non-profit organizations.
