Mercy Ships is seeking an Operations Recruitment Coordinator to support US applicants, crew and alumni. You will screen applications, guide candidates through all stages, and maintain data in People and Culture systems.

This role emphasizes high-touch candidate experience and collaboration with US Crew Navigator leadership. The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring three days per week in our Lindale, Texas office.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of administrative experience, preferably in HR/recruiting.
• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service is required.
• Mercy Ships experience is advantageous, but not required.
• Successful completion of Mercy Ships Entry Training within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from potential applicants with accurate information.
• Screen US volunteer applications for onboard and ashore service.
• Enter data in People and Culture systems.
• Coordinate calls for advanced applicants and provide personalized experiences.
• Collect missing documentation to complete applications and contact references.
• Review video interviews and assign tasks as needed.
• Guide applicants through the Mercy Ships journey and maintain candidate engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress.
• Travel overnight as required.
• Support the US Crew Navigator Manager and Global Teams.
