Job summary

National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is seeking a Program Officer to manage grants in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Thailand and the Philippines. The role is hybrid and based in Washington, DC, reporting to the Senior Program Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in international affairs, political science, international development, or related field.
Master's degree preferred for advanced research and program oversight.
Experience in nonprofit or democracy-support work is required.

Responsibilities

Manage grants and coordinate Southeast Asia programming, focusing on Thailand and the Philippines.
Monitor grant implementation, analyze reports, and provide feedback throughout the grant cycle.
Produce materials and presentations to support funding recommendations to leadership.
Track regional political developments to inform strategy and programming.
