Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is seeking an experienced project manager to guide departmental and organizational initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders and leading data-driven process improvements.

Under limited supervision, you will plan, execute and monitor projects, prepare written reports and presentations, and ensure alignment with goals, timelines and regulatory requirements. PMI certification is preferred or must be obtained within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in communications, project management, etc., required. Healthcare setting preferred.
• Must possess project management certification from PMI or other accrediting agency or must obtain certification within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and manages departmental and organizational projects under limited supervision.
• Independently standardizes processes, communications, and tracking methods for ongoing project planning and improvement.
• Develops and leads project activities including scope identification, budget planning, and team collaboration.
• Interacts with stakeholders across the hospital to plan and execute project activities and informatics goals.
• Compiles and synthesizes data, analyzes outcomes, and prepares reports for process and outcome review.
