Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our accounting and finance team for a nonprofit organization in Albuquerque, NM. The role focuses on strategic financial leadership, GAAP compliance, grant oversight, and strong collaboration with the executive team.

The CFO will supervise budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA/CFA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience with financial and accounting software applications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for non-financial audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with strategic focus.
• Experience in grant management and funding oversight.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Attention to detail and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
