Job summary

Enterprise Community Loan Fund (ECLF) is seeking a proactive Portfolio Associate to support loan closings, servicing and lending program administration for affordable housing and community development projects. You will work across a diverse set of loans and projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in loan administration and loan monitoring/servicing.
• Must be detailed oriented, proficient at working with and improving systems, and possess strong aptitude for numbers.
• Knowledge of real estate and construction lending; affordable housing and community development; and corporate and real estate insurance.
• Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Solid MS Office and Outlook skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Precision LM (LMS) is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced department.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the loan closing process as a member of the closing team.
• Review, prepare and/or review loan documentation prior to closing to ensure accurate implementation of key loan terms per the loan approval process.
• Review loans to determine appropriate insurance requirements and to ensure borrower policies are in compliance with the Loan Fund’s guidelines.
• Prepare and support closing checklists and work with Legal to ensure all closing conditions are met.
• Coordinate funding of disbursements and payments required through-out and at loan closing.
• Set-up new loans in business systems and maintain loan data.
• Coordinate with finance for payment and disbursement processing, invoicing and general queries.
• Update loan information to include file maintenance, lending databases and archiving records.
• Assist lenders and Chief Credit Officer with loan modifications and other activity as necessary.
• Assist in administration of lending programs and data reporting as assigned.
