Job summary

St. Sophia Health & Rehabilitation Center in Florissant, MO is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the center’s operations and ensure exceptional resident care.

You will oversee budget, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation and operational excellence. You will collaborate with leadership, coordinate public relations and marketing, and uphold a culture of safety and quality across the campus.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in Missouri.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field preferred.
• One year of prior experience as Administrator is preferred.
• Knowledge of state regulations for acute and skilled nursing centers
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to work a varying schedule; company operates 24 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee center operations to ensure safe, sanitary environment and proper supervision.
• Develop annual budget and operating plan.
• Prepare annual operating budget for approval and achieve earnings expectations.
• Manage resident census at optimal levels.
• Implement company policies and report to leadership.
• Review operating results and take corrective actions.
• Manage staff recruitment, evaluations, and training.
• Ensure property maintenance and safety.
• Supervise business affairs and contracts.
• Present financial and service reports.
• Maintain accreditation, licensing, and quality care through QA programs.
• Plan objectives aligned with center's mission and ethics.
• Stay informed on social/regulatory/economic factors influencing resident care.
• Participate in public relations and marketing plans.
• Support safety and quality culture across the center.
