Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan is seeking a Health Equity Project Manager II in Los Angeles to support the department lead with project delivery, resource planning, and reporting. The role involves defining project scopes, timelines, and accountability across multiple teams, while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will coordinate with stakeholders, prepare status reports, and assist in creating or updating procedures and training for health equity programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 3 years project management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience tracking regulatory requirements and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in implementing health equity and disparities initiatives.
• Track policy implementation and regulatory compliance; monitor progress.
• Manage stakeholder meetings and logistics for equity councils.
• Ensure on-time delivery of project scope within timelines and budget.
• Draft work plans, procedures, analyses, and progress reports.
• Develop health equity training materials for staff and providers.
