Job summary

The Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Credentialing and Privileging Specialist in Indianapolis to manage onboarding, credentialing, privileging, and ongoing monitoring for a diverse provider mix.

The role supports HRSA, FTCA deeming, and accreditation requirements, collaborating with CMO and CHRO to maintain high standards of credentialing across sites. You will coordinate FPPE/OPPE reviews, track expirations, prepare provider files for committees, and ensure timely,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing, medical staff services, or provider enrollment.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience accepted.
• Proficiency with credentialing software, HRIS platforms, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage onboarding from offer to first day of patient care.
• Process initial credentialing and privileging per policies and standards.
• Manage re-credentialing cycles and ensure timely re-privileging.
• Track licenses, certifications, and expiring credentials; provide reports to leadership.
