Job summary

Helptucson seeks a pragmatic Chief Operating Officer to translate strategy into disciplined operational execution across housing, programs, and support functions. You will partner with the CEO to manage day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize client impact in a grant-funded environment.

Lead cross‑functional teams, oversee housing programs, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, social work, public health, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive leadership in operations roles.
• Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and multi-site operations.
• Strong business thinking and financial literacy; connect budgets, contracts, and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Housing, Operations, and Program Leadership.
• Oversee daily operations of housing programs, services, and admin workflows.
• Monitor performance against goals, grant deliverables, and impact metrics.
• Own quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
• Maintain effective internal communication systems.
• Establish and report on staff productivity benchmarks.
• Lead operational initiatives from scoping through execution and evaluation.
• Design services and structures to improve client engagement and outcomes.
