Job summary

Communities in Schools Nevada leads the Full Service Community School Program (FSCS) across Nevada, coordinating with school districts, partners, and grantees to ensure compliant, effective program implementation.

You will oversee one grant with three projects, manage budgets over $2.2M annually, supervise staff, and report to CISN leadership while building strong community partnerships.

Travel to trainings and district visits is required to coordinate with affiliates and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years grant oversight and administration experience in a professional environment, preferably in education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the FSCS grant program across Nevada, including budgets, reviews, and approvals.
• Provide guidance, support, and fiscal oversight to grantees and partners.
• Coordinate with CIS affiliates, site coordinators, and partner organizations to implement program deliverables.
• Develop policies, procedures, and templates; assist in grant renewal and life-cycle management.
• Lead or supervise staff; assist in hiring and performance feedback as needed.
• Prepare reports and communicate program status to CIS leadership and grant committees.
