Hoyleton Youth And Family Services in Belleville, IL seeks an Assistant Program Manager to support therapeutic programming under the CARE/TCI model. You will advocate for clients and staff, ensuring high-quality care.

The role involves supervising Youth Care Workers, assisting with interviews, Medicaid documentation, and coordinating treatment plans across the cottage, while maintaining strong communication and compliance with agency policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the human service field with 2 years of experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides shift planning, coaching and decision-making support for staff on duty.
• Assist in interviews, supervise Youth Care Workers and address performance issues.
• Complete Medicaid documentation and oversee staff Medicaid paperwork.
• Model a strong work ethic and focus on quality care for children.
• Build trust and maintain communication among cottage staff and therapists.
• Identify staff development needs and support ongoing training.
• Participate in treatment planning and coordinate implementation of plans.
• Review incidents, develop strategies to reduce restraints or timeouts.
• Ensure required records and reports are completed and submitted.
• Submit maintenance requests and uphold a hygienic environment.
• Assist budget development and monitor expenses.
• Ensure Medicaid compliance and arrange staff training as needed.
• On-call status as applicable.
