Job summary

Bethany in Reading, PA seeks a Program Director for Refugee and Immigrant Children to lead operations across residential and foster care programs. You will guide staff, collaborate with the Branch Director, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold trauma-focused care for youth.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and commitment to Bethany’s mission to serve vulnerable children with compassion and excellence. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field with relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site program operations within a child welfare context.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and regulatory compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings to coordinate service delivery and ensure program alignment.
• Direct, train, and develop staff; oversee staff evaluations and timekeeping.
• Maintain trauma-informed programming and trauma-responsive care models.
• Oversee TAC/TFC/LTFC locations to ensure quality operations and client needs.
• Assist with annual budget, goals, and objectives; ensure licensing standards.
• Coordinate with intake, referrals, and community partners to optimize placement.
• Lead policy implementation, training curricula, and staff development.
