Job summary

Downtown Atlanta, Inc. is seeking a Research, Data and Impact Manager to lead data-driven research, GIS, visualization, and impact measurement supporting planning, economic development, and placemaking in Downtown Atlanta.

Reporting to the VP, you will translate complex data into actionable insights, manage partnerships with data providers, and guide strategic projects from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, data analytics, public administration, statistics, economic development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in research, planning, economic development, data analytics, public policy, real estate, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to collect, manage, analyze, and interpret complex data.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and spatial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection, management, analysis and interpretation of economic, demographic, geographic, real estate and other data relevant to Downtown Atlanta.
• Monitor key Downtown indicators and market conditions; office, housing, demographics, transportation, and vitality measures.
• Produce high-quality maps and dashboards; develop visualizations for decision-makers.
• Identify and utilize data-visualization and mapping platforms (ArcGIS, Tableau, Power BI).
• Provide research and market intelligence to support business attraction, retention, and initiatives.
