Job summary

Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation (PBMR) is seeking a Data Manager in Chicago to ensure accurate data collection and to analyze data for staff, stakeholders, and funders. The role supports evaluation plans, database training, data fidelity, and reporting to demonstrate program impact and foster philanthropy.

The Data Manager will provide thought leadership, leverage best practices, and help PBMR grow program efficiency, resources, and a culture of philanthropy through rigorous data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, social sciences, statistics, or research methods preferred.
• 2–3 years of data collection, management, analysis, and reporting experience for varying audiences.
• Experience with non-profit program evaluation (design, implementation, reporting) required.
• Experience with justice-oriented non-profits preferred.
• Excel, SPSS, Power BI and Tableau proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define and document adherence to minimum standards of project operation including assessing model fidelity, documenting practices, evaluation of key indicators, providing feedback, course correction advice, and technical assistance and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness and areas of improvement.
• Design and maintain databases and systems. Analyze and interpret collected data.
• Understand data trends and patterns.
• Create reports in the database to share updates.
• Documentation, evaluation, and reporting of current data collection items and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Data visualization, report writing and presentation of data to stakeholders.
• Complete additional assigned tasks as needed
