Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) seeks an Associate II, Community Impact to support programs, events, communications and operations across FNBO’s footprint. You will back up core team functions and develop expertise in Impact Investing and CDC operations while coordinating volunteer events and nonprofit meetings.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with city ambassadors, business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of Community Impact initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, public administration, marketing or related field.
• 5 years of experience in event coordination, program support, nonprofit work or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written communication skills for internal platforms, events or community programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; project coordination skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support program coordination across FNBO's Community Impact footprint.
• Coordinate events, volunteerism gatherings and nonprofit meetings.
• Engage employees in community engagements for strategic benefit.
• Represent the bank at nonprofit meetings and partner interactions.
• Prepare reports and materials for leadership and stakeholder audiences.
