Job summary

Advocate Health's Core Lab: Immunology in Charlotte, NC seeks a Full-time technologist for 2nd shift (Monday–Friday) with rotating on-call/holidays. Requires a Bachelor's in life sciences; a Master's and ASCP/ABHI registration are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Updates procedures in the section policy and procedure manuals.
• Assesses the urgency of a test and prioritizes workload.
• Analyzes test results for critical values and reports promptly.
• Prepares specimens, verifies patient identification, and handles recollection as needed.
• Maintains and troubleshoots equipment and instruments used in testing.
• Prepares reagents for test performance.
• Calculates, reports, and records test results with accuracy.
