Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions in Blacksburg, VA seeks a driven pharmaceutical sales professional to implement the sales plan, deliver compelling presentations, and serve as a disease expert for a defined territory.

You will plan territory coverage, participate in training, and strive to meet quarterly and annual sales targets while expanding sales within your assigned area.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required.
• 2+ years’ pharmaceutical sales experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnights/weekends.
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the sales plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers and serving as a disease expert/resource.

• Within an assigned territory, utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience which includes specialty physicians, healthcare providers and healthcare clinic personnel
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
• Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals while growing sales within the assigned territory

Essential Requirements

• BA/BS Degree
• 2+ years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Desired Requirements

• Recent experience in the geography (local market knowledge and existing relationships with target prescribers)
• Documented history and proven track record of sales success
