Job summary

Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC in Virginia Beach seeks a driven pharmaceutical sales professional to implement the sales plan, deliver presentations to physicians and healthcare professionals, and act as a disease expert for customers in the assigned territory.

You will cover an area using marketing materials, plan and organize activities, and participate in training while meeting quarterly and annual sales targets. A BA/BS and 2+ years of sales exp are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required.
• 2+ years' pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including overnights and weekends.
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

You have what it takes: a competitive drive coupled with exceptional sales ability.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the sales plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers and serving as a disease expert/resource. You will:

• Within an assigned territory, utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience which includes specialty physicians, healthcare providers and healthcare clinic personnel
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
• Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals while growing sales within the assigned territory

Essential Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• 2+ years' pharmaceutical sales experience
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Desired Requirements:

• Recent experience in the geography (local market knowledge and existing relationships with target prescribers)
• Documented history and proven track record of sales success
