Job summary

CSL is expanding its external innovation capability and seeks a Senior Director of Search & Evaluation to shape the Immunology portfolio. You will lead strategic sourcing and evaluation of late-stage external assets, focusing on Phase 2 through marketed drugs.

This role requires deep clinical Immunology expertise, strong KOL engagement, and experience closing deals. Hybrid work onsite 3 days a week at Waltham, MA (and other hubs).

Qualifications

• 15+ years in biopharma with late-stage deal experience.
• Advanced degree (MD/PhD) required.
• Deep Immunology clinical expertise.
• Proven track record in sourcing and closing deals with KOLs.
• Understanding of regulatory pathways and market access.

Responsibilities

• Lead S&E strategy within Therapy Area Leadership Team.
• Lead proactive sourcing for Phase 2 to marketed assets.
• Co-lead NPO evaluation with Early Search Lead.
• Engage with external KOLs and investigators.
• Maintain awareness of standards of care and competition.
• Drive due diligence across clinical, regulatory, commercial, and market access.
• Collaborate with BD and Ecosystem Leads to advance opportunities.
• Represent TA at conferences and cultivate networks.
