CSL seeks an Associate Director, Medical Affairs (Immunology) to lead medical strategy for inline Immunology products and drive post-launch plans across global markets. The role reports to the Senior Director, Medical Immunology and is based in King of Prussia, PA or Waltham, MA with a hybrid schedule ( onsite three days a week ).

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external thought leaders is essential.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or MD) required.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotherapeutics industry experience.
  • Experience with global standards and practices; knowledge of Immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the medical affairs strategy for assigned portfolio in alignment with therapeutic area objectives.
  • Evaluate trends and opportunities in cooperation with research and regional teams.
  • Implement strategy for scientific interactions with the medical community, including key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups.

Could you be our next Associate Director, Medical Affairs (Immunology)? The job is in our King of Prussia, PA or Waltham, MA Office. This is a hybrid position and is onsite three days a week. You will report to the Senior Director, Medical Immunology.

You will contribute to the development of medical strategy for assigned inline products in Immunology and drive the execution of Medical Affairs plans across the post-launch product lifecycle. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional partners and engaging effectively with external thought leaders, the role helps drive medical and scientific communication, support evidence generation, advance clinical understanding, and strengthen scientific engagement in global markets (US and International). This position requires strong expertise in Medical Affairs, a solid understanding of global standards and practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and affiliate teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for contributing to the medical affairs strategy for assigned portfolio in alignment with overall therapeutic area objectives
  • Evaluates trends and therapeutic opportunities in cooperation with research and regional commercial organizations
  • Implements strategy for scientific interactions with the medical community including key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups. Supports coordination of investigator led studies and research collaborations
  • Serves as scientific consultant to marketing, commercial and research project teams, providing input into promotional and educational materials for relevant therapeutic areas
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, MD)
  • 10+ years' relevant pharmaceutical/ biotherapeutics industry experience
  • Sound experience interacting with commercial functions within the healthcare industry
  • Experience in global standards and practices
  • Knowledge of Immunology

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay $185,000-219,00K for this position at the listed at the time of this posting for Waltham MA. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
