Job summary

The Frederick National Laboratory, operated by Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., seeks an experienced molecular biologist/immunologist to develop and implement validated immunoassays for clinical trial studies. The 100% onsite position requires hands-on cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR, and GMP/GCLP familiarity.

Responsibilities include assay development, sample management, data analysis, SOP creation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience in immunology, vaccinology or molecular biology.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a biomedical lab.
• Expertise in tissue culture, immunology, virology, ELISA, PCR and flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate immunoassays (ELISA, flow cytometry, neutralization assays) for clinical trials.
• Manage samples and inventories using LIMS; maintain data and documentation.
• Prepare reports, SOPs and contribute to protocol development and validations.
