Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is recruiting a Field Reimbursement Manager to cover the Roanoke, VA; Charleston, WV; Morgantown, WV; and Ashland, KY territory. This field-based role requires payer navigation, provider education, and access solutions across multiple payer types.

You will travel up to 50%, partner with sales and account teams, and serve as reimbursement SME. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in reimbursement or account management are required; residency in the

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in hospital/provider settings.
• Expertise with pharmacy and medical buy-and-bill, coding, and billing.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, prior authorization, coding, appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving ability to navigate access scenarios and find timely solutions.
• Valid US driver’s license with driving record in compliance with company standards.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory and up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on product coverage, prior authorizations and appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support and serve as reimbursement expert for local team.
• Address access and affordability issues with urgency.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support and problem-solving.
• Build strong relationships with customers in Immunology accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics, coverage and coding requirements.
• Grow knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels for patient support.
• Collaborate with internal departments to educate on access and affordability.
• Execute business with ethical, legal and compliant standards and complete training.
