EnquBio invites a seasoned Associate Director, Immunology and Ex Vivo Biology, to lead immunology-focused in vitro and ex vivo studies, including tissue profiling and 3D models. This role drives assay development, data interpretation, and client-facing leadership within a CRO environment.

Ideal candidate will have a PhD in immunology or related field, 7+ years of relevant experience, and proven ability to mentor staff and manage complex projects in biotech/pharma settings in San Diego.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Immunology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology or related field required.
• 7+ years of relevant research experience in biotech, pharma or CRO.
• Expertise in immunology, inflammation and ex vivo pharmacology, autoimmune/inflammatory disease focus preferred.
• Hands-on multiparameter flow cytometry with panel design and data analysis.
• Experience with primary immune cell isolation, culture and co-culture systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide scientific leadership for immunology, inflammation, and ex vivo pharmacology studies.
• Design, optimize and implement immunology-focused in vitro and ex vivo assays.
• Oversee immune cell-based functional assays including activation, proliferation and cytokine analysis.
• Develop multiparameter flow cytometry panels for cell phenotyping and profiling.
• Lead primary immune cell culture and co-culture projects with animal and human tissues.
• Direct analysis of tissues from preclinical models and human samples.
• Lead client-facing programs, interpreting data and reporting findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proposals and business growth.
• Identify new technologies to expand translational immunology services.
• Mentor and develop scientific staff; drive performance and accountability.
