Job summary

Dawar Consulting, Inc. seeks a Scientist III (Immunology Discovery) in South San Francisco to advance understanding of intracellular pathways governing immune cell phenotype and inflammation. This is a hands-on laboratory role driven by molecular biology, biochemistry and cellular immunology to validate therapeutic targets.

Collaborations with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to achieve research objectives and translate findings toward disease pathways and potential therapies.

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or related discipline.
• Isolating immune cells for downstream analysis.
• Hands-on experience in cellular and molecular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation from human blood, in vitro immunological assays and multi-dimensional flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to groundbreaking research on intracellular pathways in immune cells and inflammation.
• Apply molecular biology, biochemistry and cellular immunology to elucidate disease pathways and validate targets.
