Job summary

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, seeks a Scientist III (Immunology Discovery) in South San Francisco, CA for a long-term contract with W2 rate of $80–$85/hr. You will work hands-on in a state-of-the-art lab.

Responsibilities include applying molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology to elucidate disease pathways, validate therapeutic targets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve research objectives.

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related discipline.
• Isolating immune cells for downstream analysis.
• Hands-on experience in cellular and molecular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation from human blood, in vitro immunological assays and multi-dimensional flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct immunology discovery research focusing on intracellular pathways and immune cell phenotypes.
• Apply molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology to elucidate disease pathways and validate therapeutic targets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve research objectives.
