Job summary

Syneos Health in Remote, NC is seeking a Medical Data Review Specialist to support clinical development through medical data review and planning. You will collaborate with Medical Directors and external experts to prepare medical plans and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance across studies.

The role involves analytical reviews of data listings, query responses, and safety reviews, with opportunities to contribute to patient profile assessments and protocol-level considerations.

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans and coordinate input from outside experts/advisors.
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and data visualization; analyzes data to identify risks and patterns.
• Authors medical data queries and reviews query responses; approves query closure with Medical Director.
• May assist Medical Director in patient profiles review and protocol-related reviews.
• Partners with Medical Directors for medical data review meetings and safety review meetings.
• Manages project scope, milestones and interfaces with internal team, customers and vendors on medical data review and eligibility review.
• Attends Trusted Process meetings and may participate in audits.
• Adheres to ICH, GCP and data privacy guidelines across project plans.
• Acquires understanding of ongoing protocol designs and disease terminology.
• Adheres to company policies and SOPs as required in project plans.
