Job summary

Biogen is seeking an Associate Director in Clinical Development, Immunology, to work from the West Coast Hub (California). This role focuses on early-phase (I-II) trials for autoantibody-driven diseases, leading protocol design, clinical oversight, and cross-functional collaboration across R&D teams.

You will contribute to development frameworks, interpret study data, and support external partnerships and due diligence, helping advance the immunology pipeline at Biogen.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or PharmD with relevant clinical development experience.
• Subspecialty experience in neurology or neuromuscular medicine preferred.
• 0-2+ years in biotech/pharma with clinical research exposure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to advance early-phase development programs.
• Contribute to protocol design and execution for early phase neuroimmunology studies.
• Provide medical monitoring and oversight of clinical studies to ensure patient safety.
• Serve as contact for CROs and investigators on protocol questions.
• Support data interpretation and regulatory interactions related to development activities.
• Develop scientific content for study documents and risk mitigation plans.
