Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking an Immunohistotechnician in Dallas, TX. You will prepare slides for IHC, ISH, and immunofluorescence, perform embedding and staining, and ensure quality control in a fast-paced lab environment.

Requirements include a BS in biology or a related field and at least 2 years of histology experience with IHC training; ASCP or equivalent certification is preferred. Excellent safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for Immunohistochemistry, In Situ Hybridization and Immunofluorescence.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document it.
• Troubleshoot processing, embedding, cutting, and staining as needed.
• Operate general lab equipment and uphold safety and quality controls.
