Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist based in Greater Minneapolis, Chicago, or Texas to provide pre- and post-sales assay development and technical support for immunoassay platforms such as Simple Plex Ella and Luminex.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in immunoassays and protein analysis, with 5+ years hands-on experience, and the ability to train customers and collaborate with global teams. Travel up to 50% and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

Immunoassay hands-on experience required (min 5 years).
BS/BA in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharma sciences, biology or related field; MS/PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-sales assay development and technical support for immunoassay platforms.
Present scientific seminars to prospects and assist with pre-sales evaluations at prospect sites.
Attend conferences and vendor shows; relay feedback to sales, marketing and PM teams.
Train customers on instrument use, assay development and data analysis for Luminex & Ella instruments.
Travel to customer labs up to 50% to provide support.
Create and maintain customer support information using CRM (SalesForce).
