Job summary

Bio-Techne Corp invites applications for a Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist based in the Midwest or Texas. You will provide pre- and post-sales assay development and technical support for Simple Plex Ella and Luminex platforms, with a focus on immunoassays and protein analysis.

Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites is expected. The role requires a BS/BA in a life sciences field, with 5+ years of hands-on immunoassay experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS/BA in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biology or related life science field.
• MS/PhD and Field Applications Scientist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed immunoassay platform support for design, planning, data interpretation.
• Present scientific seminars to prospects and assist with pre-sales opportunities.
• Attend meetings and trade shows; provide updates to sales, marketing and PM teams.
• Create field visit reports and share feedback with team members.
• Train scientists on instrument use, assay development and data analysis for Luminex & Ella platforms.
• Develop relationships with customers and internal teams in assigned territory.
• Support sales through technical presentations, product demonstrations and vendor events.
• accompanies Sales Reps in customer labs for technical and applications support.
• Provide post-sales assay development and troubleshooting via in-person, remote, and email channels.
• Travel to customer labs to provide on-site support.
• Contribute feedback to marketing, product development and software teams.
• Maintain customer support information in CRM (Salesforce).
