Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist, to provide pre- and post-sales assay development and technical support across its Simple Plex Ella and Luminex platforms. The role targets candidates with strong immunoassay and protein analysis backgrounds and the ability to communicate complex data to diverse audiences.

Based in Greater Minneapolis, Chicago, or Texas, the candidate will travel ~50% of the time, train customers, present at conferences, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Minimum BS/BA in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biology or related life science field. MS/PhD and Field Applications Scientist experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on immunoassay experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales assay development and technical support.
• Present scientific seminars to prospects and assist with pre-sales evaluations at prospect sites.
• Attend meetings and tradeshows; relay feedback to sales, marketing, and PM teams.
• Train customers on instrument use and assay development for Luminex & Ella platforms.
• Travel to customer labs to provide support and build relationships.
• Create and maintain customer support information in Salesforce CRM.
