Job summary

AYUMETRIX is a start-up diagnostic laboratory seeking a dynamic scientist with strong ELISA experience to join a multidisciplinary team. You will design and conduct experiments, develop immunoassays, and work with minimal supervision to advance product goals.

The role requires independent work, adherence to CLIA/CAP guidelines, and collaboration with the Laboratory Director. Overtime and flexible shifts may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent experience/education.
• Experience in a clinical or scientific research lab is a plus; CLIA/CAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and test patient specimens according to guidelines and regulations.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and records.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab instruments and maintain equipment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare reagents and supervise lab aides/technicians as needed.
• Prepare data for presentations and manuscripts.
