Job summary

CVS Health in Texas City seeks a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team, helping deliver patient care and uphold safety, regulatory requirements and quality assurance while supporting pharmacists.

This part-time role requires ACPE-accredited program enrollment, 0-3 years of experience, licensure process, strong communication, and ability to work nights and weekends. Immunization eligibility and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Ability to maintain regular attendance including nights and weekends
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Lift, scan, and bag items
• Finger dexterity for precise tasks
• Reach and bend as needed
• Visual acuity for reading and computer work
• Clear oral communication with colleagues and customers
• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; up to 10 lbs frequently
