Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team in a part-time capacity. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will contribute to safe and effective patient care while learning the operations of a high-volume retail pharmacy.

You will engage in patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and workflow support, while developing your communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Ability to: regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
• Lift, scan, and bag items
• Finger Dexterity: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
• Reach overhead; extend hand(s) and arm(s) to grasp items
• Extend hand(s) and arm(s) to place, move, or lift items
• Stoop and back muscle use for moving items
• Visual Acuity for reading and computer work
• Oral communication with colleagues and customers
• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs"
