Job description

Location: In-Person, Hybrid, or Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible, based on client needs and leadership responsibilities
Compensation: Center of Excellence (CoE) Compensation Model

Pillars of Wellness is seeking a passionate and culturally responsive clinician to serve as the Immigration Services Program Lead. This role is ideal for a provider who is deeply committed to supporting immigrant, refugee, asylum-seeking, and culturally diverse populations while leading and expanding a specialized immigration-focused mental health program.

As Program Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing the Immigration Services Program. This includes providing leadership to Immigration Services Specialists, supporting program development, facilitating group consultations, and strengthening relationships with community organizations, legal advocates, schools, healthcare systems, and other partners serving immigrant communities. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Program Lead will maintain a reduced caseload, providing culturally sensitive, evidence-based therapeutic services and immigration psychological evaluations when appropriate.

This position qualifies as a Center of Excellence (CoE) leadership role, allowing you to balance clinical work with program innovation, team development, and service expansion. The CoE model is designed to empower clinicians to grow their leadership capacity while shaping meaningful, specialized care within the organization.

Why Lead at Pillars

At Pillars of Wellness, we are committed to developing leaders who are passionate about creating meaningful change within their communities. As the Immigration Services Program Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape and expand a growing specialty program, mentor clinicians, strengthen culturally responsive mental health services, and increase access to care for immigrant and asylum-seeking populations.

In this role, you won't just provide therapy. You will help build a program that empowers individuals, supports families, celebrates cultural diversity, and creates lasting community impact.

  • Collaborate with agency leadership to define program goals, outcomes, and community impact initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of culturally responsive services, trainings, and program initiatives.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support Immigration Services Specialists and team members within the CoE framework.
  • Oversee and delegate program-related tasks, including outreach, education, coordination, and training efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, immigration attorneys, schools, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and other key partners.
  • Develop and facilitate workshops and trainings related to culturally sensitive care, immigration-related mental health concerns, and trauma-informed practices.
  • Ensure ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care across all program services.
  • Stay current on emerging research, immigration-related mental health trends, and best practices for serving culturally diverse populations.
  • Assist with marketing, outreach, and educational efforts to promote the Immigration Services Program.
Qualifications
  • Associate or fully licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPC, or equivalent).
  • Experience and/or specialized training in working with immigrant, refugee, asylum-seeking, or culturally diverse populations.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or program development experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others.
  • Strong understanding of culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and person-centered care.
  • Ability to work independentally while collaborating effectively with agency leadership and community partners.
  • Experience developing and facilitating trainings, workshops, or educational programming preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance clinical and leadership responsibilities.
  • Passion for expanding access to culturally sensitive mental health services and advocating for underserved populations.
  • Center of Excellence Compensation Model with competitive compensation
