The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Immigration Risk Assessment Community Liaison to help us bridge our elite sports immigration expertise with Charlotte’s vibrant international community. This role represents our commitment to making our specialized knowledge accessible to everyone who needs it.

What You’ll Do

• Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with Charlotte’s international communities, cultural organizations, and immigrant service providers

• Risk Assessment Support: Assist clients through our comprehensive immigration risk assessment process, ensuring they understand each step and feel supported throughout

• Cultural Bridge: Serve as a trusted liaison between our legal team and community members, translating complex immigration concepts into accessible guidance

• Network Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with community organizations, religious institutions, cultural centers, and advocacy groups

• Education & Workshops: Help develop and deliver community education sessions about immigration rights, processes, and available resources

• Client Care: Provide compassionate, culturally-sensitive support to clients during what can be a stressful and uncertain time

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Deep connections within Charlotte’s international and immigrant communities

• Previous experience in immigration services, legal support, or community advocacy

• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English preferred, other languages welcomed)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Established network within Charlotte’s Latino, immigrant, or international business communities

• Experience with immigration processes, documentation, or legal procedures

• Background in community organizing, social services, or nonprofit work

• Knowledge of Charlotte’s immigrant service landscape and resources

• Experience in client services or case management
